Inside the Pistachio Pasta Kit you will find:
- a 500 gram pack of Pistachio Pennette
- a 190 gram jar of Pistachio Pesto
- a 100 gram jar of Chopped pistachio.

Just cook our Pennette in boiling salted water, drain it and add the contents of the jar of Pistachio Pesto.
We recommend leaving a little of the pasta cooking water to better mix the Pistachio Pesto.
Once you have seasoned the Pistachio Pasta with our Pesto, all you have to do is embellish it with chopped Pistachios and enjoy it with whoever you want!

Pistachio origin: EU/non-EU according to seasonal availability (the product will report the current information on the label).

Pistachio Pesto: PISTACHIO (60%), sunflower oil, salt, pepper.

Deadline

Pistachio Pennette: 12 months from the date of production. Store in a cool, dry place away from light.

Pistachio Pesto: 12 months from the production date. Keep in a cold and dry place. Once opened, consume quickly. Store in the fridge making sure that the oil level covers the entire product.
The product will keep intact for up to 1 week after opening, provided the above storage requirements are met.

Chopped Pistachio: 12 months from the date of production. Store in a cool, dry place away from light. The product will keep intact for up to 3 months after opening, provided that the above storage requirements are met.

Method of use

PISTACHIO PENNETTE WITH PISTACHIO SAUCE
Ingredients (for 6 people):
- Pistachio Pennette 500 g
- 1 jar of Pistachio Pesto of 190g
- onion 1⁄2
- cooked ham or bacon 50 g
- cooking cream 200 ml
- milk to taste
- butter 1 nut
- brandy to taste
- Pistachio grain for garnish.
Method:
Melt the butter in a saucepan and brown the chopped onion.
Add the diced ham and the Pistachio Pesto.
Mix, flame with brandy and add the cream diluted with milk. Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water and drain when al dente.
Toss the Pistachio Pennette in a saucepan with the sauce, pepper and serve sprinkled with chopped Pistachio.
Variation: add a teaspoon of curry to the sauce to give the dish an exotic note.

Noi siamo di Bronte e ci piace definirci "gli esperti del Pistacchio", ma ci piace anche essere onesti e trasparenti.

L'abilità  dei nostri esperti di produzione è quella di selezionare le migliori tipologie di Pistacchi presenti sul mercato nelle diverse stagioni dell'anno e realizzare la miscela di Pistacchi più idonea per le nostre diverse lavorazioni, con l'obiettivo di mantenere sempre un elevato standard qualitativo, riuscendo allo stesso tempo a garantire il più possibile un livello costante dei costi e quindi dei prezzi al pubblico. Non tutto il Pistacchio che lavoriamo, infatti, è di Bronte, perché è proprio impossibile che lo sia!

Il Pistacchio di Bronte, appunto, si raccoglie solo ogni 2 anni e, nonostante una produzione di circa 34.000 quintali, non può soddisfare la richiesta globale di prodotto, oltre ad avere una notevolissima oscillazione di prezzo tra l'anno di raccolta (tipicamente negli anni dispari) e quello di ferma.
