The origins of the Advent Calendar are in Germany, where it was invented in 1908 by Gerhard Lang, a Protestant publisher who created it while remembering an episode from his childhood.

The skill of our production experts lies in selecting the best types of pistachios on the marketduring the different seasons of the year and creating the most suitable pistachio blend for our various processes, with the goal of always maintaining a high quality standard, while simultaneously managing to guarantee a consistent level of costs and therefore retail prices as much as possible. In fact, not all the pistachios we process are from Bronte, because it is simply impossible for them to be!

Bronte Pistachios, in fact, are harvested only every 2 yearsand, despite a production of about 34,000 quintals, they cannot meet the global demand for the product, in addition to having a very significant price fluctuation between the harvest year (typically in odd-numbered years) and the fallow year.

On our labels, therefore, you will always find the origin of the nuts used indicated, with the guarantee of having a controlled productmade with the best available raw materials, both Italian and foreign.
